they're so worthless. no one knows this, but i extended a page on wikipedia that dealt with a "list of songs featuring hand claps". sounds stupid? maybe, but it's fun.

anyhow, it was apparently deleted on september 19 by a group of swine who cited, and i quote, "I see no use for this list" ... "too broad to ever be useful or maintainable" ... "people wonder why Wikipedians have a short fuse when it comes to list articles of any type" ...

there's a difference between the list and the other ones featuring "cowbell", "finger snaps", "robots", "phone dial tones", and what have you. it's because this list is awesome and the rest of them are either mind-bogglingly retarded, or worthless, or both.
i especially like the fact that ten people, TEN, voted this page for deletion (a page with not even 400 songs on it, mind you, when the other ones featured up to 3,000!!! fucking songs on it) and yet these same people won't delete the fanboy Family Guy pages citing every gag in every episode in excruciating detail in case you're a fucktard and not getting the funny...

Hell, as long as the info is reasonably accurate, up-to-date and spellchecked it's a great asset. Some people really try to make it like an old-school reference book you'd find in a library... c'mon. Y'know how many articles there are on porn stars?
