a lot of men (and this, of course, varies) project a different persona when they are wearing a suit.... i think a lot of them mentally go into "all business" mode when they put a jacket and tie on. maybe that's what women find sexy about it .... its not so much the actual look as it is the aura of power, intelligence and capability...and a man who wants to act "grown up" (something most women want, and something most men are kinda reluctant to do)...

(not to say there aren't men who can pull off being a frat boy in business clothes ... i work with a few of them.... )

I pretty much agree with your mrs, I've always found blue collar types more attractive than office/white collar men. But seeing a man in a suit is nice too.

My bf is a jeans and tshirt type, the only time I've ever seen him dressed up was at his dad's funeral. And I have to say that seeing him in a tie was pretty great, he does clean up well!

If her complexion/hair color, etc. go well with paleness then that's great, but a natural tan is good too if it looks like it was achieved while just being outside rather than the even all over tan, which would indicate they put too much time into it.

Fake tan in every circumstance is bad.

I think to a certain extent everyone notices what's outside first because there is no physical manifestation of personality (aside from body language), but that's not to say everyone judges the whole person by appearance. I can't speak for all guys, but I'm guessing that guys are more often guilty of that than girls, but then again, the physical standards that the male collective have held women to have probably backfired in some ways so that men are now judged more often on appearances.

As an individual my role is to be as genuine and congruent as possible, and if I do that I think secondary roles are born from that such as helping others.

It depends on the situation, but assuming I was not tricked into it (hole in the condom, not taking the pill when she says she has, etc) I wouldn't just say "whatever you want to do I'll support you 100%" (although in reality I would support her) because I think I do have a part to play in the decision. I'd want to sit down and have an open discussion about our desires and wants, the reality of the situation, and try to find out if we agree. I'm pretty confident that I'd never want her to have an abortion, but I'd understand if she did want one. The ultimate decision would be hers, but I wouldn't want to just take some passive role in the decision process.

8. I hate to be elusive, but I believe the only strengths or weaknesses that anyone has are human in nature rather than gender based. That's not to say I think men and women behave/think the same. I just think strengths and weaknesses come from our human-ness moreso than our gender (though I can understand how an oppressed gender would prefer to tie a strength to gender).
9. As I've grown older I've realized I'm more like my dad than I once thought. I was raised by mom so I always thought I was more like her. I'm still closer to my mom though.
10. Given my answer to 8, this may seem contradictory, but just from my experience I'd say honoring your word, self control (not the same as emotional repression), respect for others, and not being passive/indifferent when a wrong is being committed.

Height - It doesn't matter much, but I do prefer my guys taller than me (I'm not quite 5'7").

Hair - Depends on the guy. I'm not a fan of buzzcuts, though.

Car - I don't care... I take the bus everywhere. So as long as the car works it's .

*tall,of course,cos i'm tall. but average is fine ,too. I have never dated anyone shorter than me not on principle or anything-it just hasn't happened. being fairly tall though i can't conceive of dating someone any shorter than a couple of inches than myself.

No, not at all. Personally, I find skinny guys very attractive and more appealing than guys who have muscles and look strong. I can't really explain why though.

yes. i wouldn't say you have a mullet though. baggy pants are kind of..well not wonderful but i guess lots of guys think they are good.

anyhow back to kurt's question. it isn't that any of those things you mentioned are really a "problem" but i doubt they top any one's list of what they are looking for in a fellow. maybe start exercising a bit, upgrade to slacks or jeans that fit..? eat healthy,too. that will probaly help with your oft mentioned acne situation.

also: i dont really like "baggy" pants, but ive lost a whole lot of weight kind of recently and have not had the fundage to buy a new line of pants. they are 2 sizes too big and so are my belts. it sucks for now but i mean, of course its good.

i like relaxed not baggy.
