peanut butter chocolate chip!!!!
I make awesome cookies. I like really soft cookies, even slightly underbaked is fine by me. the key to soft cookies is to only mix the ingredients until they're incorporated, and then stop mixing. the dough should still be really sticky when it's all finished and ready to bake.
yum!

I make a mean blueberry oatmeal cookie. One time I was making oatmeal raisin, and we didnt have any raisins, ahaha, so I used dried blueberries, and it was so much better.

cookies are alright... i think they're bigger in america. same with doughnuts. confectionery used to be big in the UK but kids just like chocolate now. I remember old school iced buns...they kicked ass.

They were going to be oatmeal blueberry, but I forgot to buy oatmeal. They go really well in generic sugar cookies if you have a sweet tooth.

I am a cookie fiend, but the cookies must be of the soft, chewy kind. When ever I make cookies, I under cook them a bit so that they're doughy. I can't understand the people who like them like hockey pucks. Freaks.

It's quite the opposite for me.
Though true, they are the devil as you can never put them down. :)

I'm with James. I like chewy homemade cookies, I don't mind the chewiness. But there is something about chewy chips ahoy and other chewy storebought cookies that tastes fake.

I"m not big on any kind of cookie that comes in a store bought bag. it's unsettling to me.
as far as chewiness goes, I like them soft, but not underbaked. underbaked cookies make me sick real quickly. I eat enough cookie dough, while making them, that by the time they're out of the oven, I want something fully cooked. that is, if I still have an appetite at all. :/

I'd like to think I love every kind of cookie, but I'll go with the majority here and say chocolate chip. There is something to be said for the molasses cookie though; those are damn good.

My junior high made the best chewy slightly-undercooked chocolate chip cookies. They were warm and melty and amazing.

i love cookies of almost every variety, but i definitely prefer more simple ones- classic chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, sugar, oatmeal butterscotch (THE FUCKING BEST!!!) to super fancy ones with tons of stuff in them. my mom makes incredible linzer (sppp?) cookies at christmas. they take some work but they're worth it, raspberry jam and chocolate sandwhiched between almond cookies, unnngggh.
god i really love me some cookies.

mmm potbelly's! I go there for lunch once a week on average. I usually get the A Wreck or Italian.

homemade for sure, but I've used the freezing thing as a remedy for slightly overcooked cookies before. I hate it when cookies are cooked to the point where they're crunchy, but if they're frozen, than you don't think of them being crunchy from over-cookedness and they go from frozen solid to saturated with milk to nice and yummy in your mouth.

I just ate a lot of store bought cookies lying around my house. Ugh, I dont even like store bought cookies, I should have just baked some. Oh wells.
Some store bought cookies are nice, tho expensive.
Tho I like Subway's actually.
soft cookies only please.
my high school made the best undercooked fresh chewy chocolate chip cookies ever. sometimes when im back home i wanna go back there just to get some, though i never have, and its been like 4 years lol. no chocolate chip has ever compaired to those, so now im all about the white chocolate macadamia nut, mmmmm best thing ever.
cookies are great. but are frequently hard (which is super gross) and therefore not as good as cake which is always soft and yummy!

i made some cookies a few months back where you basically make a chocolate chip cookie dough, and then take mini marshmallows and wrap the dough around them, then you bake them and you have chocolate chip cookies with molten marshmallow in the middle. They were INSANE. OMG.

i love snickerdoodles more than any other cookie. but whenever i bake cookies, they always end up being a big puddle of cookie mess in the middle of the pan.
so i bought self-rising flour one day, and it was pretty much the best thing i've ever done and now my cookies are always soft and puffy.
I usually call it self-raising flour. True story.
And yes softish/chewy centre cookies R THA BEST.
