I would like more control over how the links and menus are ordered/displayed. Specifically, I'd like to be able to re-order the subscribed boards.

And maybe... colors and stuff.

I want to redo all of the user cp. like let you add your own styles, have blogs, read friends blogs, comments... just don't have the time lately.

I'm a bit biased, but I think you should check out the Zoints Local profile system (http://zoints.com/r/34/)... It's super duper customizable, both for the site owner and the user (and it work pretty goddamn well right out of the box too), and it's got all kinds of sweet toys, including blogs, forum subscriptions, a tagging system and lots more... I sorta work for them, so yeah, just in the interests of disclosure :)
