spinoff thread: what's your favorite mixed drink?

on my 21st birthday i had like 90 of these.

1 oz. citrus vodka
1/2 oz. chambord
juce of one lemon
1 sugar cube


MMMM. i think they called it a raspberry lemonade but it was fucking awesome. and then i made another restaurant make it and it was still fucking good.

Sage Margarita:
1 1/2 oz GOOD tequila
3/4 oz cointreau (triple sec if you're poor)
6 sage leaves
1/4 oz simple syrup
2 lime wedges

muddle the sage and lime together, add the remaining ingredients, shake and serve on the rocks.

Vodka red bull is easy to drink.
Once at the pub a workmate and I mixed half a pint of Strongbow with 200ml of blue WKD. So sweet.

The only dark spirit I like is brandy, and even then that's only after a meal. Just don't like the taste. I've never had more than one glass of whiskey or brandizzle at a time I don't think.

Damn, that sounds awesome. I tried Chambord for the first time this past Halloween (open bar). Great stuff, but it was just with Sprite.

I really like the Scotchs/Whiskeys/Bourbon/etc... Usually on the rocks. But I don't think ice & whiskey counts as a mixed drink.

Alabama Slammers are great:

1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/2 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1/2 oz sloe gin
1 splash orange juice
1 splash sweet and sour mix

At my favorite watering hole, the owner makes a drink which tastes like mint ice cream. I'm not positive what's in it, but basically milk & mint liqueur. Red Bull & Vodkas are great, but unfortunately, they usually don't even give you the entire can & still charge you $8. I generally prefer to get Monster Energy drinks & mixing it myself.

Does anyone else love Dr. Pepper shots? I never get over how awful it sounds, but how much it tastes like Dr. Pepper.

If I'm at a club (dragged along by my friends :O) I get Long Islands.

In a pinch, vodka and cranberry w/lime juice.

I'll usually take a look at the drink menu wherever I am and get whatever looks good to me at the moment.

Most of the time I will choose beer or a funky flavored martini. Houlihan's has one I love, Adam & Eve, it's a lemon-apple martini with cinnamon sugar on the rim :D i looove it.
