This is such an amazing song. I've recently gotten quite into it. It's quickly becoming one of my favorites. It's such a beautiful song. And i think because of the lyrical content, it really could be the definitive "Adore" song.

"Lately i just can't seem to believe.... Discard my friends to change the scenery.... It meant the world to hold a bruising fate, but now it's just a matter of grace...."
That says it all for me right there.
I need to find that video again of him playing this song in Rome, in that town square.

Very good song, I loved it when they played it live during the last tour - just Bollz n Jamez on stage. It's always represented Adore to me as well, but probably just cos it comes first on the album... ;)

Twilight fades... I wonder if that was done on purpose since the second Disc On MCIS is named Twilight to Starlight?
On Blistered Avalon...
The lyrics of this song are amazingly beautiful. It's on my TOP-10 SP songs list, definitely. The music is also simple yet amazing.
I love Adore. It's the album I liked the least when I first listened to it (except for "Tear" and "Pug"), but it has grown inside of me to the point of being one of my favourites.
But Siamese Dream can't be taken off the throne... That was the album that made me a diehard fan back in 1993.

the song in itself is simple and could easily be boring if it isn't played by the right performer. To Sheila has always been one of my fav's because of its production. The oh so quiet percussion, the background 'cricket' tone, the rhodes, the back up vocals, the subtle slide guitar, the tremolo...oh lala. good.
I became a fan because of Adore. Now I am a bit worried that it's all about "loud guitars and thundering drums".
Fear not. I'm sure there will be some song about Jesus Christ in the new 1/2SP album... - loud guitars and thundering drums may not fit in it :P

But Jimmy's told us of how they spent a year recording drum solos and layering 1000 guitar parts per second. :O

ooh...To Sheila has just popped up on iTunes.
It's perfect sounding for this time of night.
It's perfectly thought out and put together, with the way instruments and sounds come in and fade out...

But that's for teh new jimmi complez band next record!!
We had a plethora of drum'n'bass bands, now we have a nice drum'n'guitar band!!11one
