I know 360 isn't as popular around here as Wii or (crappy) Ps3 but anyone gonna get Gears of War when it comes out on the 17th or 14th (I forget which date it is) It looks awsome 2 player coop and the game has been indevlopment for 4 years it has to be good.

I don't see why it "has" to be good just because its been in development for 4 years! That's like saying Duke Nukem Forever will be the best game of all time because it has taken so long.

Nah my tag is YKidNotoriousY. I got mine at best buy yesterday. Gamestop had a problem and it got held up so many people were there at best buy because it was the only place to have it...At least here in South Florida...and in Louisiana.
Last time I preorder there.

I bought it on Thursday and have been playing through campaign. Nice graphics and such, and while the game play isn't exactly my cup of tea (I prefer Halo, stuff a little more fun-n-gun), it's definitely growing on me. I like the cover abilities, while not being a "stealth" game, and the little things like the reload mechanism. (well, and of course, the chain saw melee)

I've watched my husband play it. It's pretty, but needs more colors. The chainsaw action is cool, and I like the way it looks like a comic book when the blood squirts out.

yes, SC-DA is really good. I like the SP more than the multiplayer on XBL. RS: Vegas comes out tomorrow, played the demo & that's gonna be a great game too. You can take a pic of ur face with the Vision Camera, map it onto a character & use that player on XBL, so sweet.

He got that Vegas game and Call of Duty 3. The latter one sounds so annoying with that high pitched note when you die, that I hate it! I didn't see much of the Vegas one because I was cooking, but he did show me how he can send his fellow soldiers to specific places (Go, go go!) ahead of him.

He tried to play Halo online a couple of times, and kept getting killed, so he doesn't go online much...he's out of practice.

There was a game I recall that was in production for 6 years and ended up being utter garbage and universally slated so that doesnt make it good. In fact, if a game has been in development that long it usually means there are some serious problems with it, and so is one to avoid.

I watched my friend play Gears of War today and although it was pretty watching next gen stuff, the game itself was very bland. Typical 360 fodder. Totally unoriginal and nothing special.

umm, Counterstrike was probably the biggest multiplayer game around a couple of years ago, that doesn't make it original or not shit. Although I'd definitely say that counterstrike was more original than Gears of War.

Well the camera system for One is orginal and the cover system.
But there are haters for every game and everything else in life. Thats why I'm just gonna give up and make my own judgements.

It's a PC wannabe console. So you get the staple of the PC market (FPS) but without the smarter games.
