Other than that, tobacco paper is also a good choice . But I still say, bongs are amazing. They look cool, they are extremely efficient, and you can put ice in them...:cool:

bongs don't look cool. you look like a spanner sucking smoke through a big old phallic piece of glass. and you really dont get more bang for your buck, the "bang" for said buck is mostly from the fact that you aren't breathing in fresh air for up to a minute if you hold it in like I used to when i was fifteen. That gives you a headrush in itself! they get you high of course, but you could make a joint (fag and weed) out of the same as a big bowl and smoke that sucker for 10 minutes. There is no comparison!

I'm with Fras, a good ol' had made joint is much better than either a bong or a pipe. I think its a cultural thing, because when I was both in the States and in Oz, the bong/pipe was always the weapon of choice.

A joint is so much better for many reasons. You can sit back and relax with it, share it easily, and you don't look like a grade-a dick taking a drag.

A bong/pipe seem to be specifically made to get fooked as fast as possible, whereas you can saver a good joint.

Just to help my case hear in regards to pipe vs. bong vs. joint. For a daily smoker since 2003, I look for cost effective measures. So through my own experience smokeing w/ a one hitter has worked out for me very well, one little bowl and im out for an hr or so..

Joints and bongs, waistful- joints keep burning and bongs- they just dont seem to get me as high. MAPS scientifically proved bongs filters a bunch of THC, and not as much of the toxins, so you basically end up smoking more for nothing!
