i highly doubt it was a suicide attempt. one of the cops doing the report probably lost a bunch of money betting on TO in some stupid betting pool and decided to take it out on him by calling it a suicide attempt when it clearly wasn't.

so dan and i watched his press conference when he was fresh out of the hospital, and honestly, it doesn't seem like the guy tried to off himself the night before. if he had, i doubt he would have even been talking (to the press), and his hospital stay would have certainly been longer than overnight. maybe i'm naive, but the explanation that his prescription painkillers interacted with some supplement is perfectly reasonable to me.

all that being said, i was definitely hoping for an all out psychotic break that lead to a few weeks in the cuckoo's nest.
