I'm pretty happy. I love it already. So far the only game i have is "Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls". It's the only one i could afford after i bought my DS. But i'm going to go buy some more today. What do you think, "NEW Super Mario Bros." or "Mario Kart DS"? I really want to play people over Wi-Fi, because i'm pretty amazing at Mario Kart, but it's always hard for me to find people i know that are as good as me.
I'm considering getting one now the DS Lite's come out. Nintendo seem to keep hurrying their portable consoles out without asking anyone else what they think of them. As soon as it came out the GBA got widely slated for its dull screen, lo and behold not long after, the SP comes out with a backlight. The DS got slated for looking like a cheap cumbersome lump of plastic, now we have the rather sleek looking DS Lite.

Mine has a dead pixel on the Touch screen, I called Nintendo, they'll replace it.
"NEW Super Mario Bros." or "Mario Kart DS"?
Get both. I own New SMB, it's fun but too easy, you'll complete it in a week.
And I'm thinking of getting Mario Kart DS.

My first DS had a dead pixel, but then i returned it right away and got a good one. I got the DS Lite by the way, not that clunky old thing.

So anyone got any other recommendations for Nintendo DS games?
I just got one myself a couple of weeks back, and got New Super Mario Bros and Dr Whatever's Brain Training thingy... the brain training thing is pretty cool actually, even though i wasn't sure about it - it shows off the features of the DS really well. (it uses voice recognition and handwriting recognition.) and mario i've not found as easy as people are saying, it gets pretty tricky in places, especially if you try to get all the star coins.

I just got Brain Age, it really helps you feel like your getting smarter - its good mini-game fun (and cheap).
YES, play wi-fi, its lots of fun ESPECIALLY with mario kart (which you should get anyways, it has new levels and even older favorites!).
I also have Trauma Center: Under the Knife. It is mildly difficult and exciting. It is also very dramatic with the story. It is an obscure treasure.
You can never go wrong with WarioWare Touched!

We found that Brain Age got boring after 2 weeks of doing it everyday.
I don't need that guy bitching at me when I do worse! :bag:

I got a DS Lite on an impulse a few weeks ago with friends. I got Tetris, New Super Mario Bros, and picked up Metroid Prime Hunter today (which is completely badass).

Nintendo announced they will be releasing Pink and Black DSLite's on September 13. I think I'll wait until then and pick up a slick little black one.
