i love this one... but why on Quasi's website do they rate WTGGD as their best album yet? Surely Birds is the best album? The vocals sit much nicer in all the mixes and give a lovely sense of melody, whereas on WTGDD it's all reverby and sounds like Bono or something... any ideas? I don't quite get WTGGD can someone explain it to me? I love I don't know you Anymore, but apart from that I'm having trouble getting into the album,

....Our Happiness is Guaranteed IS amazing..... hm.

Can someone give me an opinion at least on WTGGD? What does anyone think?

WTGGD is far more original and explores new ground. I imagine that they probably had a lot more fun making it. Tunes like the title track and I Don't Know You Anymore are incredible. However it lacks the memorability that almost all other Quasi albums have. The first three or four songs are amazing and the rest are good to, but they just aren't memorable. I'd have to say that Field Studies or Birds is the best album, one of the two.
I think they just felt that they accomplished the most with WWTGGD, which they did. They covered completely new ground and did it well.
