BlamoNet.com recently has had a tiff with our main advertiser/sponsor BurstMedia.com they wanted to censor (i.e. no swearing, sexual content, violent content) a lot of the information here and elsewhere on BlamoNet.com's bulletin boards. So since I didn't want to harm the community and a lot of members voiced outrage at being censored, we came up with an alternative plan to help support BlamoNet.com's server fees.
We came up with paid subscriptions which will give you as a member a lot more options and also give other BlamoNet.com/Sweetaddy.com visitors the option of having a better community to visit.
For $15/year or $8/for 6 months here is what you'd get.
Ad Free Bulletin Boards
Increased Storage for Private Message (5000)
Access to donators / paid members only forum
Free E-mail (Forwarder or POP3/Web Mail account)
Bigger Avatar 100 * 100
Larger attachment allowment.
You can do an online payment with your paypal account or with a credit card at http://www.blamonet.com/vb/payments.php (please log into your account before doing this)
Also we are now accepting payments via snail mail. Here are the requirements for doing snail mail account upgrades.
Please send money (hide it well, we don't want anyone stealing it) or money order (make it out to Aaron Grant), we aren't going to accept checks at this time.
Please write down your blamonet.com member name, or the person who you are buying the membership for in case it's a gift.
The amount needed to purchase a paid subscription is $8 dollars for 6 months or $15 for 1 year.
All the money will toward server costs. This will ensure Blamo can stay free of restrictive advertising (i.e. you don't get censored) and keep the Blamonet.com online. :)
