MLB 2k6

Has anyone played this yet? I've been thinking about getting it for Game Cube. I have EA Sports MVP 2005, which I've played to death, but EA Sports lost it's licensing for a few years, so I though I might give MLB 2k6 a try if it was any good.

Nope. The last PC baseball game I played was Hardball III (from Accolade I think?).

I'm kinda dubious of sports sims. I used to play EA Sports' FIFA and NBA Live series but they got repetitive and easy and there's always sequences of play that are unrealistic and makes you wonder how long they spent actually playtesting them.
