Do they have any cool events where they open up a bunch of galleries and offer free wine n stuff where you are? I visisted a friend last year in Indiananapolis and they had a thing like that. It was fun. But i might go on vacation soon and i want to know where to go if I end up in a certain town- maybe someplace cooler like Florida or California.

I like you. Alcohol and art are #1. Smiley face, whatever, I can't be bothered to look for it.

In Pensacola they have gallery night once a month. We have lots of art galleries in a small area downtown, and everyone offers free wine and cheese and stuff. I never get to go though because I'm always working, but once a few years back, I went and played my guitar on a street corner for about half an hour and made ten bucks.

I'm too afraid to go downtown to our "art" district alone. #Even for free drinks.

I went to MCA's first friday (finally) the other night. The Museum has an event at the beginning of every month on the first Friday. There aren't really any works up that aren't up normally, but they do put some nice little features up. This past Friday they had a swimsuit fashion show. It was just some girls walking around in swimsuits, hardly a "fashion show". But it was a lot of fun. The drinks aren't free though and neither is the event itself, but it's not too bad. You'll meet some colorful characters there, for sure. Check it out.

wowa.... I started my trip to Glasgow with an opening at the citie's big gallery for contemporary art. Two wonderful canadian artists were showing off their art, + free drinks and delicious high class food! Then at my last day in glasgow I got drunk at an other opening, and stole a wonderful wollen sweater. It wasn't a part of the show, someone just left it on weirdly on a chair.. for me to ..borrow

I'm kind of surprised that I am not experiencing any kind of guilt... I don't like thieves.

one time in physics class i wrote on my rubber/eraser etc "despite all my rage i am still just a rat in a cage." I had to use all the rubber's sides to fit it in good, and then i showed it to the people beside me. I like all the drawings, they're really good.
