Next book in my endless line of nerd-ness will be Eldest, I guess. Anyone else read these?

I just read Eragon and I enjoyed it, it was fun. I've heard they're making a film of it. I'll get 'round to Eldest at some point :D

Wow, I forgot this thread!!! John Malkovich is going to be Galbatorix apparently, even though Eragon still hasn't met him face to face by the end of the second book (Eldest).

I thought Eldest was really good, it had weird pacing compared to the first story, but a great shocking ending like all good fantasy novels should have. Now I'll just be wasting away in nerd-dom until the third book comes out...or until the seventh Harry Potter book... :cry:

My little cousin liked this book a lot. Oh, and Malkovich is cute. So, yeah ppl should read it.

Yeah, i just saw the movie poster for it last night.

Have you read "Jack the Giant Killer"? I loved that book.
