But It was kinda fun.... I don't know if Orson Scott Card should be closer to Tolkien and Stephen King than to Bradbury or Herbert but it was still fun.

Milan Kundera is waaay too close to James Joyce for my liking.

Fuck Milan Kundera.

It's amazing how different it is for fiction and non-fiction. Jeffrey Eugenides got about 40 hits and Daniel Dennett got two. It's a cool site, anyway, though.

Nabokov's proximity to Gaybriel Gaycia Marcrap is irritating.

Hehehe.

Where do I know the name Kinbote from besides Pale Fire? Did somebody steal that name for another fictional character or something? It seems to be connected to a different first name in my mind, or I remember having heard it spoken in performance or something.

Stupid question, but it's been bothering me since I saw your nick yesterday.

Well, there was an x-files episode with a character called Lord Kinbote in it.

On the contrary, arguments can be incredibly productive in the respect that they showcase different patterns of thought to different people and can often cause people to defend their position to the point where they have to rethink it.

Of course, this is all null and void when arguing with Danny. So yeah.

:D yay! It didn't give me that "You must spread some rep before giving it to this member again" nonsense!

I don't see how that was called for.

That's okay. I think there's a reason why only the recipient can see the reason for the rep.

Besides, if the reaction to the "scribble" thread is any indication, then people on the Lit board should be rolling out red carpets for Danny. He'll make things more exciting! :D

Don't expect any wonders. There are plenty of little kids who need to grow up around here. I'm not holding my breath. Lets be kind and call them "late developers"
