Hi- I go to Elliott Smith's old high school. With a few other folks, we're getting together a memorial plaque for him. However, I have a problem. The manufacturers of the plaque need a really high-dpi photo to do it. All the photos I have got from the internet have been like 96dpi- they need at least 300.

Here's where you come in.

If you have any old magazines with photographs of Elliott Smith, you sending a cutout could be the difference between this memorial happening or not. Here are the photos I want most:

Thank you so much. If you find you have any of those, or any good photos at all, please let me know! (As soon as possible, too, because unfortunately this has to be done in a month.)

Sadly, I don't have any pics of Elliott that are high-res enough for that. :( Most of the pics that are high-res were taken by professional photographers -- you could always contact one of them and ask if they'd be willing to give you the rights to use one at a nominal fee for your school's plaque. Wendy Lynch (http://altpick.com/members.php?id=17441) is one such photographer. It can't hurt to ask.

I do not know who took this picture, but if it were available as a high-res photo, I think it'd work great:

Someone posted three really good quality ones there. I think the first one would be nice!
