Also, i guess i should have chosen my words a little more wisely. If you'll read the sticky in the Pumpkins forum, along with general rules set forth by Blamo, it basically says the same thing: don't be an ass. So these aren't really new rules, just rules that needed reinforcing. Am i not nice to everyone on this board unless they give me reason not to be? Well, you don't understand everything correctly. I banned him because of his general behavior not only towards me, but towards other members (aria, for example). There have been several other incidents on this board where he's been offensive, and as a moderator, i've had to tell him to stop. I told him to lay off aria, and instead of doing that he acted out like some mad dog and started hurling insults my way. People have been banned for less, permanently i might add. I put him on a three day ban. So, knowing that, he comes back as Shabba D and posts under a thread i made in good faith, hurling even more insults.

Again, if he really doesn't like me (which i don't see what reason he would have, i've never done anything to him, but who cares?) then that should be dealt with personally, between us. I mean, if you want to talk about invertebrates, then we should look no further. Rather than talking shit indirectly on a board he could just address the issue responsibly instead of making it into board material which no one really wants or needs to read. So you'll have to pardon my finding amusement in that comment, Kinbote.

Furthermore, if you really do understand the concept of joking and such, then i'm surprised that you think that his insulting me was a joke. Again, i put a smiley and a "j/k" to denote that i was in fact joking. Jacki and i are good friends, Fras and i are not- not by a long shot. If you think his calling me a "nig" is okay, then i do think you need to seriously re-evaluate your perceptions of things.

Forgive me though if i'm coming off a little harsh on you, Jackal, i do not mean to. But frankly i'm sick of members getting shit for no reason.
