Anyone else tried this? I changed over from the default thread view and I like it.

(I'm probably a little late here, since he probably already explained it to you in person :rolleyes: but....)

It kind of reminds me of less-cool message boards where you get a preview of all the replies to a posting. But it's a little different in that when you enable it, when you go into the actual thread you see a little box with all the replies to the first posting and then the actual thread is displayed like usual. En ejemplo:

HEY! Billy just joined Sugar Ray!!! 9:43 pm
re: HEY! Billy just joined Sugar Ray!!! - 9:55 pm
re: re: HEY! Billy just joined Sugar Ray!!!- 12:01 am

It's hybrid tho so you get the "less-cool" view as well as the standard view below it!

Okay, i guess i'm just totally out of the loop here.... I thought you guys were married? But then i looked at your profile and it said that you live in Australia?

No problem. Yep, I live in Sydney, Australia. Kendra is at college in Blacksburg, Virginia.

I plan to fly over in early May since Kendra graduates in mid-May. I'm expecting to get my residency visa in early April. We'll be renting a place in the 'burbs of Washington DC. That's about it.

Kendra was here for about a month between December and January, when we got legally married. It makes the visa easier to get and there are other conveniences as well. A formal wedding will probably happen next year sometime.

thanks for the rundown. I'm still not sold on this view tho, what happens when there's 85000 replies to a thread??

Aaron will delete the thread cos it takes up too much database space.







P.S. I abandoned this view about half a day after posting the screenshot. I don't like it anymore! :oh:
