Has anyone read this?

Read it yestserday and it blew me away. Believe the hype. This is surely the greatest love story ever written to paper. I challenge anyone not to weep towards the end of this book.

"Why did you have her die?" asked Colin.
"Oh..." said Jesus, "drop the subject".
He looked for a more comfortable position on his nails.
"She was so sweet", said Colin. "Never was she bad, neither in thought, nor in action".
"That has nothing to do with religion", mumbled Jesus, yawning. He shook his head a little to change the slant of his crown of thorns.
"I don't see what we've done", said Colin, "we don't deserve this".

He lowered his eyes... Jesus's chest was rising softly and regularly, his features breathed calm, his eyes had closed and Colin could hear a light purr of satisfaction coming from his nostrils, like a sated cat."

I realise alot of you are not well-read around here, and are a bit backward, but yes, 'daze' is indeed a word.

don't be so touchy
it's only that in french
the title is 'l'écume des jours'
and that would be in english
'foam of the days'
but daze?
that's all
just wondering

Sorry.

Yes, days is turned to 'daze' and the reasons are explained by the translator. I preferred the title "indigo blue"......

Yeah. While one presumes that the thing loses a bit in translation, it still reads like it's from a sixth form lit mag.

The title, or the book?

The writing reminds me of books written for teens.
