Not concerts, club nights. Surely these are just glorified pubs, as I have never seen anyone "dancing" in the traditional sense to rock music. Im sure it's possible, but it would be shit as it's too slow to dance to? I dunno......
p.s. do you know how mildly frustrating it is having no one else on blamo who shares an interest in my (current) favourite genre, Grime?
Blake's on it, as with most genre's but it's not his passion, if I remember correctly.

I go to this rocknroll club downtown and always dance like a motherfucker. They play punk most of the time, which is highly danceable

Oh yeah, of course. You could have a "skank out" to ska too and that's played by bands.
But I mean music in a Pumpkins vibe for example...

I used to dance to hits of the 70's, and 80's all the time. Drunken Okies love dancing!! And usually by the end of the night women start flashing their boobs and dancing on chairs and tables. Pretty Classy!!
I've been to a good many and I've seen people dancing, like at Star (heh) or the Cockpit. The best rock music to dance to is sleazy rock n' roll, like GnR, the Backyard Babies or Turbonegro or something.

I would pay money to watch Frank dancing to GnR.
I have danced to Rhinocerous at the youth club disco. I don't really do dancing in clubs much though, unless it's an 80s night.

if by good you mean ridiculous then yes, i am
I would pay money to watch Frank dancing to GnR. I don't dance in public, I'd cry if someone made me, but if I get to pick the song it's a deal.
You Could be Mine sound good?

I'm such a good dancer that there's a popular dance move among my peerage called Nak Nak's Cosmic Smash. I'll make a diagram or a video of it one day.

We have a couple of rock clubs in Pcola, but people don't do much dancing. I saw Snmnmnm last year at Sluggo's and people actually danced to it, but in general, Pensacola doesn't dance for rock bands. It's a shame too because I have trouble dancing if no one else is.
This one club I go to in Montreal has great Music (on Saturday nights). I see the DJ at shows all the time. Bands in regular rotation include Pumpkins, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, DFA1979, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metric, Mass Hysteria, Intepol, etc...

My two favorite clubs in Chicago are The Metro because they get all the amazing shows, and The Empty Bottle because they have shows EVERY night and it's the most beautiful, dirty rock bar in town.
