Every time Rob and Joel describe Elliott as just being "away for a while" - as if he's off recuperating in the mountains somewhere and having too good a time to come back just yet - it makes me want to cry.

VERY cool article - probably the first one i read since his death where at the end i was smiling. any musician will tell you some places just have a vibe, or a sound, or whatever that makes that place special - obviously the equipment here is very rare - but i just have the feeling that great music will be made there.

I usually am annoyed by people suggesting life after death, or by people euphemising things, but this made me smile. This whole thing makes me feel warm; it's a monument to Elliott. I only wish I could see more and larger pictures of this place. I hope to hear more about this in the future.

I feel the same way - and it's the warmth and basic sweetness in the way they phrase the thing that makes me sad. I wish them all the very best and I hope the place is filled to the brim every day with people making music very soon.
