There is absolutely no point in making a Canadian SP board. This isn't an 'American' SP board, as there are people from all over the world that post on it. The French SP board is for a french speaking SP site.

Sounds like somebody needs an attitude adjustment. If there's a French board there should be a Canadian board too.

Although many of the people undoubtedly on the French board from France, I am guessing there others from other countries, including Canada who speak french that likely post there as well. The only thing I think you could justify is boards for other languages (for those who don't know english very well especially), such a spanish, portugese, japanese or italian speaking board. How would this board be Canadian by being bilingual and only allowing Canadians to post? That would be pretty idiotic. As you can see I am from Canada, and I think it's unnecessary.

Well if you actually being serious about this post, rather than just joking around, then I will point this out: Canadians are all about promoting our 'mulitculturalism', well this board is very multicultural as I pointed out before. If Melissa Auf Der Maur could be proud wave flagging Canadian in a band with a bunch of Americans from diverse backgrounds (ie the Pumpkins), than you can can express your Canadian patriotism just fine on these boards, without a separate Canadian board.
