As of about 4am EST, Corgan's site was down. I dunno if it's a server issue or they're actually working on a new site. But I sure hope this means something in terms of what's to come.

Check it, I went to Yahoo & just put in Smashing Pumpkins in the search bar. It says: "coming soon, currently redirects to BillyCorgan.com" (http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=smashing+pumpkins&sm=Yahoo%21+Search&fr=FP-tab-web-t-297&toggle=1&cop=&ei=UTF-8)

didn't smashingpumpkins.com expire a couple of years ago and then last year somewhere it was working again (but pointing to the other billy site)? they probably put that "coming soon" text there at the same time they got the domain back.

When the site first went down, NetworkSolutions had a page up that said it was under construction. So my original thought was "Hey, the site's under construction!"
