The guy was 21 I think, so it must be a broad term. There are supposed to be Romanian rent boys in Aberdeen.
Now we can prove that the Lib Dems actually have a life. Hew shouldn't be forced to take a backseat in the party though. It is his own life.

I don't care about their sex lives, but they're going to go all Tory I just know it. I might just vote for random independents in future. I don't like Labour, you'll have to tempt me with kittens and lollipops.

We have Ruth Kelly. Do you like young boy-types? e.g Ruth Kelly. You could teach it to draw or hey even run a department properly.

tempting as Ruth Kelly is, she isn't a kitten or a lollipop. Try again!

What about John Prescott.
I have a new slogan for Simon Hughes
"Simon Hughes gets it no matter what"

John Prescott looks a bit like an ugly puppy I suppose. Have you seen Puggles? they are a cross between a beagle and a pug and they are very cute. My friend sent me a photograph of Jake Gyllenhaal holding one and I almost died of like. I like Tony Benn but Labour were mean to him. Hillary Benn is my MP, he sent me a letter about the war once.

I have both Tony and Hilary Benn's autographs. My Uncle was travelling to London on the train many years ago and he shared a compartment with Tony Benn. When my Uncle got on the train he was a liberal and when he stepped off at London he was, and still is, a Labour supporter.
Aye Puggles are quite cute. Shame about Pugs.
John Prescott is watching you

If only Prezza were that cute. Why did he think he could race nine-year-olds?
Even though Tony Benn is about 400, I still would.

I still am a bit. And I haven't a clue what to do now, I quite like Sir Ming but the rest of them seem like a lot of backstabbing clowns who will take the party to hell in a handcart made of reclaimed timber.

So true, I don't have even half the amount of respect for those leeches as I had for Charlie. I might be voting green or looking at independent options for my first ever vote!

On occasion me and my mother have voted for the most bonkers independent when we haven't known what else to do. It's so depressing though, I've only ever cast two votes that I truly believed in, and the motherfuckers let me down.

I think i'd vote labour if the tories were knocking on the door, though.

That's what I did in 2001. I hate tactical voting though, one of the things I loved about the LibDems was the whole proportional representation thing. Like my dad says, everyone should be able to cast the vote they want and not worry about tactical voting.

New Labour, New Danger! Or, as I prefer to put it, New Set Of Uncaring Lying Capitalist Bastards! "Things can only get better" indeed...not in the NHS you set of wankers.
sorry, but it hurt me very deeply, idealistic 19-year-old that I was. Where is this brave new world you promised, Tony?

The NHS would never make a profit though. I think the NHS is a national treasure. From your point of view, what needs to be done. Lets get some inside info.

Get rid of the star ratings. Get rid of the meaningless targets, and the (in my opinion) ludicrous concept of "patient choice". You shouldn't have to "choose" the best hospital, they should all be good. Stop contracting out services, eg cleaning, catering, and then maybe people will have a pride in their work and feel valued by the organisation again. Patients would benefit hugely from that and they're what it's all supposed to be about.

Aye I don't like the idea that successful hospitals are rewarded. It increases disparity and wrecks morale. Contracting is bad as the NHS has no real control over how it is run.

Have you ever considered joining a private trust?
ramblingrose
01-30-2006, 09:28 AM
I don't really fancy it, I don't know anything about the private sector to be honest. there is a big Nuffield hospital just across the road from mine but I haven't a clue what they do there, I just imagine you get yelled at by rich old men who've had their ingrowing toenails removed.
I have to treat private patients where I work, but I don't get paid for that despite the doctors being on their crazy private rate for those procedures, which peeves me a bit.
I would consider working in a private nursing home but I did my student placement in a BUPA one and the standard of care was frigging atrocious, so I'd rather not.
El Loto

Aye consultants make some sweet money when they do work for the private sector. I think its disgusting actually. My mother, the phamracist, told me when I was 5: "Euan, never go into the medical profession". I've steered clear. My ex is going to Cambridge to do Medicine. Nutter

If you want to help people, don't be a doctor.
