Are they your "top songs" or is it based on sales or something?

Top singles anywhere, anytime are always horrendous. As evidenced by the first post of this thread, that's not always true.

first off the Beatles song obviously is better than any other song in the list. There is never going to be another Beatles, get over it.
Grillz is a lame song but I have a confession - I kinda like that song "Ride Wit' Me"...ok ok I admitted it. It's the only song of Nelly's I like but it's got this happy air that I am a sucker for - the kind where underneath it happiness is very fragile.
And I kinda like Gipp's style. Not exactly what he says - which is generally shit - but he has an entertianing delivery. It's a different style from Ludacris but I think there's a similiarity in that even if they're saying stupid stuff it still sounds at least entertaining. They both guest rap in the song "Toom of the Boom" on Big Boi from Outkast's Speakerboxx, which is a good song.
Now listening to Speakerboxx "Young Hov in the place to be, Oukast in the place to be"

ok I'm not going to totally hate on Mariah, she had a great voice way back when. But I remember once seeing on MTV the making of one sweet day or something. How it happened is they were just hanging out hoping to work together and both of them had a song that had to do with someone who had passed away and they sounded kinda similar so they decided to combine them. They showed Boyz II Men singing their version by themselves. It's the same way that Whitney Houstons's I Will Always Love You was - it's a great song the way Dolly sings it, Whitney just overdoes it. Well before Mariah the song really wasn't that overblown.
