Soundcards for mac os x?

im lookin for a resonably priced soundcard for a mac G5. im new to this and pretty useless so any help is appreciated. i basically wanna convert tracks from decks to md to mp3. any suggestions on a sound card that would allow me go from external md onto my hard-drive? is this possible?

Any sound card should do that, assuming Macs don't do things to differently to PCs. Just stick it in the mic input. Alternatively, if you've got an MD with USB, then transfer the files like that.

thanks man, the unfortunate thing is macs are not compatible with most pc stuff. its actually pretty hard to find a soundcard for it cause theres no external hardrive on the g5, its in the monitor!!!!!!! ill keep searchin dude, thanks for the help
