Mind you, I've only listened to around five songs off of the album, it's typical bland indie rock with horrible vocals. Much like the bands Hyden listens to.

"The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth" is utterly fantastic. As is the rest of the album.

but lets back up now, I hardly think anyone who thinks the singing from bands such as Coheed and Cambria (i'm sorry, i tohught rush was bad the first itme around) or AFI (rawr! IM SAD AND ANGRY!) don't sounds like a bootleg of Sharon Tate getting raped can point the "horrible vocals" finger...

you dislike the yelps and moans, to each his own, I honestly couldnt care less what kids with goatee's think is tastefull... you say it's "a new indie fad"... people have been singing like that for ages... lets look now, David Bowie, Gary Numan, Brian Eno, Capt. Beefheart, David Byrne, it goes back to fuckin' 40's big band and old blues... who knows how long before we had audio recording technology people we're yelping and yodelling
