that is one messed up movie....
I'm still in shock of it. I think I'd have to watch it again to figure it out.
hey James, I can identify several locations in it. if you still want pictures, tell me, I'll be back there by the 10th.

ok. i'll try to get them. the two buildings that I recognize right off the top are the apartment building and the school.which happen to be on the same road. I'll try to get those pictures tomorrow. I think there are a few other places I could find in there. I might have to watch the movie again though...
anyway, how do you want them sent?

doooooooooooooooood! James, guess what I found out!
one of the cinimatographers or whatever they're called, from Blue Velvet is teaching a film lecture course at my college this semester and apparently he's known for giving open film lectures at out campus every so often.
I heard it from my pot head friend who's a film major...
I spent 3 hours at his place the other night just keeping him company, cus the poor whacked out dude doesn't have many friends around here. I ended up getting a second hand high cus he WOULD NOT STOP SMOKING!

Frederick Elmes? Because if that's the case, we have some serious discussion to have here... I *love* his cinematography.
If you re-rent the DVD, he's in the documentary. Long hair guy with glasses, thin.
This is his work... I need to see Broken Flowers soon:

He also did Wild At Heart, which is just great... River's Edge sucked but it looked nice. Hit me back for any details tonight (call me)!

my word, his name sounds so familiar. I don't want to say it's him cus I'm not sure, but as soon as I work up the courage to get ahold of my friend again, I'll find out for you.
I really dont feel like spending another 3 hours with him if he's gonna keep smoking pot and gettig lost in his own sentences again. it takes so long for the poor dude to find his way out of a thought. :(

ok, so it's not him.
I'm trying to find the name, but I'm not sure. Brenden says his last name starts with a D and is long and weird.
now I'm just trying to figure out where I know Elmes from. there are too many things that lay in my subconcious and I have problems bringing them up....
maybe it's just a common name...
oh well anyway, I'll probably end up calling you before you read any of this so........
