James and you like some of the same music.
I still haven't gotten into Mr Bungle but I'm willing to give it a shot.
Mellon Collie is a great album, seriously. I don't think I got into it until 1996, but the album only came out in November, right? Grandiose in a time when it was uncool to be so. I seriously don't care if Billy ever goes back to that style, but I just want him to go back to that same quality.
I think it probably knocked most of the other stuff out of the water that year, they pretty much reigned supreme then. I still listen to Oasis' Morning Glory from 1995 as well. And of course I still listen to the Bends, and it should make the list even if just for Fake Plastic Trees.
two albums talked up a lot here on Blamo that I haven't heard and would like to that came out in '95 - Raekwon's Only Built for Cuban Linx and PJ Harvey's To Bring You my love
Kyuss - ...and the Circus Leaves Town
Supersuckers - The Sacrilicious Sounds of the Supersuckers
Faith No More - King For A Day, Fool For A Lifetime
Sonic Youth - Washing Machine
Fu Manchu - Daredevil
Wilco - A.M.
Mudhoney - My Brother the Cow
Mad Season - Above
Elliott Smith - Elliott Smith
SP - MCIS
PJ Harvey - To Bring You My Love
The Verve - A Northern Soul
The Chemical Brothers - Exit Planet Dust
Massive Attack - Protection
The Charlatans - The Charlatans
Leftfield -Leftism

I wish I could remember what year things came out. The Bends and Different Class are ace and I used to listen to that Charlatans album every day on the bus. Mellon Collie was pretty much my favourite of 2005 as well. I think I spent most of 1995 listening to the Beatles, Stevie Wonder and the 13th Floor Elevators though.

Old people like noodles, they're easy to negotiate with dentures.

If you eat raw pasta and let it expand in your gut, you can go without food for a good 8 hours.

Did you see that thing on telly last night about gastric bypasses? We wondered what would happen if you had one done, then ate lots of dry cous cous and drank a few pints of water.

Wow, I'd pretty much have to agree. Ruins... never thought they'd get mentioned on these here parts.
I'm a big fan of Orb's ORBUS TERRARUM lp on Island... that's the first I usually think of when I think 1995.

I was listening to Washing Machine by Sonic Youth this morning...and noticed that is from 1995, so I'll add that to my list of faves from this year...although I don't think I bought it until about 2002.

WASHING MACHINE is the SONIC NURSE of the '90s. I really don't get why it's so great to so many people... with a few exceptions, a Moore and a Gordon number, not to mention the very fucking great closer, it's not something I get the appeal for.

I liked 1995; 1995 was a good year; 1995 was one of the last years not containing significant chunks of time that I wished I was dead.
I liked Jagged Little Pill. Did that come out in 1995?

I liked Jagged Little Pill. Did that come out in 1995? Yep. Sometime during the summer I think.
I liked the first half of 1995. The second half was when I started high school.
