hey there folks...
there is a lot of talk out there that Conor is a huge asshole, that he is rude to fans, etc. I just wanted to dispell that talk in my drunken state.
I have talked to Conor on several occasions...he is actually very welcoming and nice, humble and modest too at times. I can relate to his attitude....I am a bit of a popular artist in my own right, playing millenium park, old town school of folk music, beatlefest, etc. and yeah, it's really annoying to have people come up to you and talk to you after you just poured your heart out performing for a bunch of people.
anyway, Conor is really a nice guy, and I dont know if people on this forum think he is otherwise, because I am quite drunk and was just passing through, but I thought I'd say something for a minute or two.

I know.
Not that I talked to him, but he doesn't seem a natural asshole, just maybe shy/weird/annoyed by people sometimes.
A guy I know spent some time with him in the backstage last summer and he was anything but an asshole. He was polite and laid-back with someone who he basically didn't know at all and was just some random fan.
I never talked to him cos I'm shy and I dunno what I should say. I'd like to have a proper conversation with him, but it's not like I would approach him after a show when he's tired and keep him there all night to do it, it sounds pretty rude in a way.
Maybe one day I'll be able to.
I want to kidnap him to get him away from teenyboppers and lame pseudo-indie kids. Then I can keep him in my living room and have a nice chat. :-p
Yeah...my sister is freinds with some guys that released specialty L.P.s for bright eyes and the faint. She met conor and said he is SUPER nice. She doesn't really like his music, but she always defends him.

By the way, what band are you in? It's ok if you don't want to say. I was just curious!

But Frank! Can you post the pic where Damith is about to try to talk to Conor? The one where he's wearing something yellow?
