What success rate has anybody had with trying to make people like Bright Eyes? I converted someone on Saturday, surprisingly easily. I think that's five out of fifteen so far.

My mum likes him, no effort at all. My dad liked him too and came to see him with me at Jo's Well. I introduced him to my friend Olivia and also to Luke. I rock.

I still can't get my ex to like him though, I'll make her a CD one day and force her to like it using electro-shock therapy. Not quite sure how it'll work, but work it will.

Arg! I've not had fizzy drinks for ages and I just had a glass of Dr Pepper and now I'm so hyper!

I'm immune to caffeine so I don't usually react to fizzy drinks, but on the very rare occasions I have full fat coke I go a bit funny off the sugar.
My parents enjoy the SC Christmas album but my mum has only ever been to one gig and that was Demis Roussos in Glasgow in 1976. I doubt my dad's been to any either, unless you count the Grimethorpe Colliery Band. They're musical peasants, they haven't even got any Beatles records, apart from the ones they've stolen from me. All we had in the house when I was little was ABBA and weird stuff like sea shanties. My mum's favourite record is called "20 Golden Hits of Crete".:(

My parents have fairly awesome taste in music, my mum likes Leonard Cohen and obvviously whose parents don't like The Beatles ;). My dad likes Pulp and The Animals and also Genesis :erm:.

It's the law that dads like the Animals, even mine does. It's not fair, my parents are totally retarded about music. They still think I'm a genius because I taught myself to read music when I was little. My dad is quite a good singer though, his bebop jazz renditions of showtunes are rather special, even though he doesn't realise he's doing it.

My dad sings in a Doobie Brothers covers band.

I think that face sums up the sound of Genesis. I used to fancy Peter Gabriel when I was about 9 but thankfully I have always been averse to Phil Collins.

My friend Jo would probably fancy him then.

She's 37 and her ideal man is Robert Palmer R.I.P., don't rule it out.

my mom likes some of it; have converted many friends, when the president talks to god is a good bright eyes introductory piece I have found. at least for people who hate bush and also hate any music that they dont already listen to

I think I'm maybe a bit too enthusiastic when I'm trying to convert people. I can't imagine my mum's ever going to be a fan though.

I've gotten about seven people into a cupboard at once, now that was an achievement.

If you can get seven people into a pair of tights you'll win my favourite party game.

I got my boss into phish and elliott smith....I really should burn him some bright eyes...my boss rules. well, my fake boss does; his dad is the real boss, and he is an old guy with a bad attitude.
