i bought a guitar this summer for 1400 bucks. i am looking at ebay right now, and i've found that i could've gotten the same guitar for around 900 bucks. i'm seriously pissed.

not all guitars sound the same, even if they are same make model and year. just be glad you actually played your guitar before buying it, i have always been leary of ebay guitar buying for the simple reason that some guitars just sound like ass.

Yeah man. I mean, it sucks that you didn't get the best price, and an extra 500 is not worth being able to play it first, but you DID get to try it out first.

I just ordered that Jaguar HH from GC, and I played one once in like June. I remember I loved it, but I'm afraid that I'll hate it.

plus, you never know whats wrong with stuff from ebay. at my shop we had a flute come in that someone bought from ebay, and it was all screwed up....most of the keys didnt work, and those that did sounded terrible.

you never know if someone messed with the electronics, if the wood is warped, etc. be glad you paid a bit more for something you know is good...rather than buying something froma stranger halfway around the world.
