does anyone know anything about this Emergenza Music Festival?

Cos I've been asked to perform in it by two seperate Emergenza Contest/Festival managers.

I've had a look at it....a wordlwide music competition for getting exposure to bands. Sort of a tournament, with the winners of each stage getting better and better prizes and getting shipped of to Munich for the finals if they get that far, and then the ultimate winner gets 5 weeks in a recording studio...and their album record and put out.

But does anybody know anything else about it? Like is it worth a damn, do any of you know anybody who's been in it for any of the previous years?
Because I don't think it's likely that I should enter it, but I just was hoping some of you would have some advice.

Yeah. If you have to pay 75 dollars to sign up, I don't think it's worth it. But it is totally worldwide, with concerts all over North America and Europe.

It's a mass mailer for people on myspace. I got one of these on my soundclick site about a year ago, only it was for a faux record label.

There are three shows scheduled in Chicago for that festival thing. three nights in a row at the same venue. seems kind of legit.
