At the iowa city show he was saying some crazy stuff that i couldnt make out. Something about how he and his band have some sort of crime investigation unit going on and that they heard a gun shot earlier in the day and were going to look into it later. Then he said, " I probably shouldnt have told you that" and he just went itno a song. He seemed pretty sober the whole night though..

it's not, if it's what I think it is then it's a crazy little jam they do.

'hell is coming' is one of his new songs. It's not so much a jam but more like a full structured song now. heard him do it for the first time on some radio station last spring and its a fairly good song, tt's a really dark with good lyrics.
oh yeah and willy mason helped out on harmonica during 'lets not shit ourselves'. :)

When I saw him in Montana a couple of weeks ago he told us about how that last time he was there he climb a mountain and through up half way up, then some people threatened him with guns and he thought they were real so they freaked out but then they found out(I don't know how) that they were BB guns.
He said some pretty funny stuff. I enjoyed the show immensely. He also said something of how "Michael" (Mike Mogis, I didn't know he referred to him as Michael) had chlorophyl blood.

one of the best drunk conor comments is the following:
"this next song is a love song....you guys like love songs?"
crowd: "yeah!"
conor: "oh yeah? well then this next song is about cutting yourself"
"is that a fog machine or is somebody smoking?...oh, it's a fog machine? that's not nearly as exciting"
and then there is the 3-minute repeating of 'conor is an asshole' while he was crouching down to the ground and covering his face. that got people nice and worried
I quite liked his "This song is about sitting on the couch and taking a shit and smearing all over yourself whilst watching TV" as an intro to Let's Not Shit Ourselves.
