saw it last night. enjoyed it thoroughly. i'm not really sure what message i was supposed to take from it (much like cage's last film, lord of war), but it was entertaining and very very funny at times. i find that nicolas cage kind of defies himself in a way...at times during the movie, i found myself thinking "gee, he's really overdoing it a bit here," but the thing is, it totally works. the opposite goes for michael caine in the movie: his performance was rather dull in a way, but it really worked...plus it was fun to hear michael caine curse. :)
anyone else seen it?
edit: not to spoil anything, but gil bellows creeped me the fuck out in this movie!!
