.Org Shutting down

Well the webmistress at .org just posted that she is shutting down. NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :(
Where am I going to get my James news? :scared:

well since i own the domain it won't be going down. although i'm not probably going to keep it updated well at all. since i don't have time or know where to find all this news at. although i'm going to integrate it with blamo.org/zwanmusic.org a bit more to share databases. so hopefully someone can help me out if elle really decides to go for good.

Hmm, well this sucks big time. I certainly don't have the funds or the time right now to take on the site for several reasons, and I wish I did but I don't.

The most I could do would be to offer to take on the news updates, but elle'd have to give me her contacts n' stuff. As far as having space for gallery and other media files, can't do it D: Maybe when I graduate/get a job/etc D:

What is really bothering me is that the gallery is down already and it was the biggest James Iha Gallery on the net I know/knew. There were a lot of really cute pics and I didn't save them,because I didn't think this would happen..

yeah i'm going to rebuild the siva database a bit more so more people can log in and help out with the site. it's going to take me a while to revamp things a bit more and i need to. yeah and it sucks about the gallery, but it's all gone now. :\

Yeah that is totally crappy. I have some of the pics saved but definitely not all, and I don't want to use stuff w/out her permission. Hmm.

Yeah I'll think I'll link to the Blamonet James Iha gallery from the jamesiha.org site. The images aren't the greatest, but it's a start and we can add to it.

I don't want to use anything w/o her permission either, so I'll just start off with what Siva has and expand on it.

Well I moved everything completely over to blamo's database and dropped the entire jamesiha.org database and everything is working nicely and took down all the broken links.

I'm just glad it isn't disappearing. Thanks so much, Aaron! Is there any way that we could beef up the gallery a little? (ie, would you mind if we just uploaded stuff?)

Everyone is welcome to upload away at the gallery. Add whatever you want. You just have to be logged into the boards and then go to the gallery and you can pick which image folder to put it in and upload as much as you want. :)

Hey I don't post much here but I heard about the .org site. I was just thinking that I saved most of those pics if they can be used but I don't know about getting permission. I just wanted to say that if anyone knows who to contact to get permission. Is it Elle we ask? I'm sorry I have no clue but I just wanted to say I have them saved from the .org site. I know nothing about server size or code or anything but I wanted to help any way. Just let me know. Thanks:)
