Elliott … I have been sat here for a long while trying to think about how to put into words what it is that I’d like to say to you right now … but it’s just so hard …

The effect you have had, and will continue to have, on my life is monumental, so so big … I can’t explain it … and sometimes I don’t even think that I understand it.

Although I never knew you while you were here, you and your music will remain in my heart, and inextricably mixed up with every other part of my being, forever and for always.

Thank you for all that you were, and for all that you will continue to be in the hearts and minds of so many of us.

Wherever it is that you are I hope you are happy.

And please know that today, tomorrow, and beyond we will never forget you :heart:

two years, huh? i need to get some pizza. i drank jameson last night. now i know why. i mean...i don't know what got into me because i don't usually drink but i went out on my own and i drank and i wrote and i smoked.

sometimes i want to wake up and find out that none of this is true but it's too late isn't it? so many thoughts inside of my head. memories. man, so many memories. alright then. i'll keep them to myself.

He's had such a big effect on my heart.

I almost take a perverse pride in being one of the (relative) few that know of him and knew of him during his life. I saw him live about 5 times, and I really look forward to the day when I can get my kids (when I have some) into him. Maybe that sounds wrong, but it give me a thrill.

Two years, but it feels like yesterday, it was so hot that day in LA.

Today, I am only sure of one thing, time does not do anything, I will never get used to it :(
