This board is so dead, here's a new topic to keep the lifeblood flowing! There's been a few new movie previews out and some of them look pretty good, I'm not sure when I'll get around to seeing them, but I figured other replies might clue me in to other good movies coming out that I haven't heard about yet!

The newer movies I most want to see, based on the previews, are Jarhead, Capote and Good Night & Good Luck. Also, Wallace and Grommett looks pretty cute, and I GUESS I could handle seeing DOOM. But just barely. heh. I'm iffy about that one and Thumbsucker, and The Corpse Bride, but mostly just because I love Nightmare Before Christmas and I've heard very mixed thing about the corpse bride compared to that one.

The newer movies I don't really care to see or that look completed retarded are Elizabeth Town (bleh) and "The Fog", although I do think Tom Welling is hot. :O

Now you go!

Wallace & Gromit is classic. the shorts (short films) were anyway, it's meant to be one of those kids films that has jokes for adults written in it, so should be cool.

Doom I will see it just for a giggle.

Dya know I havent seen many new trailers for ages...

King Kong?

The Family Stone looks pretty funny and it doesn't hurt that Rachel McAdams (aka my future wife:-D  ) is in it.

I kinda wanna see that movie Thumbsucker.

Otherwise, Jarhead looks promising.

As much as I don't wanna admit it, The Family Stone does kinda look charming and fun.

Definitely King Kong, I'm really looking forward to that. The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe also has a bit of my attention, as does Doom, X-Men 3, and maybe Superman.

And I gotta admit, the trailer to Harry Potter 4 made it look pretty good too.

Fuck I'm a geek.

The Preposition, if they decide to release it over here. Also, Ghost in the Shell 2 is getting a cinema release I think, which is goddamn awesome.

Ghost in the shell 2 is out on video here, I rented it a while ago...I liked it, very impressive animation, a little hard to follow in places but anime fans should love it. Is it not out on video where you live?

Is it not out on video where you live? Nah, not in the UK. I've been debating buying the American one, but I've been told it's getting a cinema release over here at the end of the month.

Have you seen the trailer? I like the whole 1920s feel that Bryan Singer seems to have given to Metropolis.

Superman's too short. I've never been a huge Superman fan. He's got an awful costume, doesn't seem cool at all, bad hair. Too clean cut.

I like Batman, dark, crazy, sexy!

It just bothers me in Superman when he puts on like a pair of glasses and everyone's like "Where did he go?!" :O

Worst disguise ever.

Plus he's got his business suit on, and his Superman outfit AND a pair of underpants over that. The bathroom logistics alone would make it totally not worth it.

And how does he fit the cape under his suit? No, I don't like the sound of this at all.

I love superman :O I bet his suit is shit at concealing super-boners, and that's sexy :D

The covent gardener (if that's the title, I keep forgetting what the middle word is cos I'm so out of it at the moment).

Also I wouldn't mind seeing that movie about Johnny cash and June Carter Cash because hello Joaquin.
