i always thought this story would make a neat movie, but it would be hard to recreate the places and especially the characters. but i guess if anyone can do it, peter jackson can...although he's not directing, but whatever.

My neighbor told me about this last night. Also, the guy who wrote 28 Days Later is doing the screenplay, isn't he? Very exciting news. Glad to hear they're getting people who know what they're doing so even if it does turn out crappy they can at least look like they made a good effort.

Damn, since it cam out in 2001 I think you're the first person I've heard say that.

Anyway, I'm excited about the movie & Halo 3, next-gen.

oh god i was so addicted to the first one. but the second one was disappointing, to be sure...i definitely didn't like it as much. honestly, once i beat the games, i kinda lost interest in playing the campaign anymore...but i loves me some deathmatch!!! :-D

I think it's because I'm a PC gamer at heart, and by the time halo came out all the best FPSs had already been on the PC.

I totally understand that. Most PC fans scoff at the idea of playing games on a console, which is understandable...especially just on the resolutions alone. What games are ur fave?

my favourites in the FPS genre are Far Cry, Half Life II and Soldier of Fortune II (Which was out around the same time as halo and was an incredible multiplayer experience)

I've never really liked PC gaming. Console's are much more comfortable :) And fighting games/racing games aren't as goon on pC (unless you have a joystick or pad or someting, obv)
