I assume that is what it is referring to?
I haven't really listened a lot to the album... nor have I read the book, only read ABOUT it. but... comments?

i dunno for sure, it was a question. but it is a pretty well-known book, so naming your album that sort of implies it. the book is by a beat-associated writer (Paul Bowles). anyone read it? i heard william burroughs referring to it as a classic

Hmm...not sure about that. When asked about the title of the album in 1998, James had some sort of explanation about it that he had made up . . . letting emotions come down like weather from a cloud or some hippy shit like that :D At any rate, he didn't mention a book.
