Yes. No.

He bitched at the audence and ended his encore early.

P.S. Search the forum and you will find like 6 threads on this already.

Here in the UK...Birmingham in november on the Sacred and Profane tour...never came back to do the encores....at the end, me and my mate waited by the stage doors with some others and asked a roadie why and it was because Billy didn't like the crowd!!!....Then we saw the band get in the coaches...billy had his own bus and everyone else went in another.

I think the event you're asking about happened in Melbourne, Aus. There's an article about it on the front page (blamo.org).
As usual the story is truth, half-truths and lies.

One of the security guys said that the actual reason for it was that the crowd didn't clap loud enough. I saw them in Manchester a day or teo later and they rocked!

That's not entirely accurate. He'd finished playing all the songs he was going to play.

i heard that he had finished the set, but rather than stay to be friendly type of thing, he just walked off. people have been saying he stormed off etc just for press or whatever.

melissa liked birmingham (supporting apc). she kept saying "thank you Bir-ming-ham" (she was talking in a german accent for some reason) then some one threw beer at her, so she said "thank you for the beer, birmingham".

Melissa likes everywhere, when I saw her in Leeds she kept saying how good a rock club the Cockpit was because the night before they'd been staying in a hotel nearby and were lured out by them playing My Velouria. Then in Manchester she dedicated the show to the Manchester Sound (Smiths and stuff).
