An idea i've been toying with

Would anyone here be interested in doing some kind of writing contest? I think it might be interesting, and perhaps there could be some prizes involved or something like that, i don't know....

I just thought i'd put the question out there in the open to see what people thought. I've been a little apprehensive about the idea because knowing what i know about this board, it has the potential to create some ugly rivalries, childish heckles, and Lord knows what else....

But give me your input, please.
