i havent been to many shows this year. in fact, i can only think of 2. eww. anyway, i was checking upcoming concerts on ticketmaster, and ELECTRIC SIX ARE COMING TO TORONTO! hurray!

thats going to be one awesome show.
and im going to catch hedley in september as well. i have foo fighters on saturday. i'm going to try to win tickets to elton john cause im broke as hell, and its sold out, and i really want to go.
i should be going to john mayer, but my idiot friend didnt get me tickets and didnt tell me she didnt get them until after they sold out.
theres a few more shows i'd like to go to, but cant afford. murrrgh.

I totally thought this was a thread celebrating the finishing of summer-concerts.

I haven't been to a concert since Turbonegro before exams, I'm off to see Jimmy C and maybe Weezer in a couple of weeks though.

I'm curious to see what a Jimmy show would be like, and who else would be there.

You sound like you know your way around a few bands, have you encountered People in Planes at all? If not, you should definitely check them out (link in my signature), they're touring america in october i believe.

the only show i saw this summer was Billy Corgan... I tihnk only really big acts do headlining tours in the summer... the smaller acts jump on the festival circuit... but Fall and early Winter are prime time for great small acts to tour...

this Fall, a hell of a lot of my favorite bands will be around

Arcade Fire
Wolf Parade
Okkervil River
The Robot Ate Me

... I'm sure there's more

Saw Billy this summer, as well as Red Hot Chili Peppers and Weezer... and that's about it, surprisingly.

But I will be seeing Sigur Ros in October.

I havent been to a concert for ages :O cant think of anyone worth seeing. its a bit of both. theres really not been anything interesting this summer. and summer concerts are so fucking expensive. september isnt really summer. its fall. so its a celebration of fall concerts, and a celebration of no more summer crap.
