I use my fags for two purposes, smoking and skinning up so I need a brand that offers me more, so much more.
Marlboro Lights or Benson & Hedges Silver (british fags you probably dont get em)
I can smoke these in desperate situations: Regals, Sovereign, Mayfair, B&H Gold, Embassy

lights aint shitty at all. all the nicotine of a regular fag (in a nice brand obviously eg marlboro lights), with much less tar. no contest. plus they're tippity-top in a jay.
I find that normal fags make your breath smell worse and your chest feel tighter in the morning. Fuck that.

I can get blacks real easily around here, but I like Vanilla so much better. I have to drive 20-30 min to get Djarum Vanilla, and that's not conducive to my addiction!

Are Benson and Hedges only menthol? The only person I ever knew that smoked those was a former boss of mine, she smoked the full flavor menthol Benson and Hedges and had somewhere around a 3 to 4 pack a day habit :O ugh bleh. I hate menthol, some people adore it though, but it just never tasted that good to me.

i'm smoking camel turkish silvers right now. i usually smoke kamel red lights, but i was in the mood for a lighter cigarette. when a smoke a turkish silver after smoking a few kamel red lights, it feels like i'm inhaling nothing but air!
to whoever said light cigarettes are shitty: try a kamel red light. them niggas don't play. i mean, they're awesome, if you like marlboro reds. they're better than marlboro reds.

how do you figure that one? I mean I understand poorer quality tobacco from really cheap shitty cigarettes is gonna give you a nasty cough no matter what strength/flavor you smoke from them...but why would Marlboro Lights be any worse for you than Marlboro Reds? , or any other lights/full flavor comparison within the good (aka more expensive) brands.
But yeah you're totally right that non-decent cigs will fuck you up...when I lived in Missouri I could get a carton of Cheyenne lights with a free lighter for twelve bucks. But after smoking them for a few days, my throat would be killing me and ugh, they just don't taste good.
But I don't see why lights are any different among good or bad brands when compared to full flavors. One of my friends used to smoke unfiltered full flavor Pall Malls! BLEH and whenever I borrowed any cigarettes from him my throat/chest would feel like ass. Light pall malls with a filter do exactly the same thing to me.
I also never understood the brit habit of mixing tobacco with weed, unless it's just a blunt paper. If you stick a bunch of nasty tobacco in your joint you're just ruining the delicious weedy flavor! ;) Here in the states if we wanna get high and have a tobacco kick, we smoke a joint of just weed and then smoke a cigarette :D

With lighter cigs, you have to take a bigger drag and it goes further into your lungs than decent ones, thus making it more dangerous.

I mostly smoke Marlboro Menthol Lights. Sometimes I'll switch it up and go with Milds or just plain Lights or even Newport like right now.
Sometimes I buy those $5 flavored Camel packs just because it comes in a tin cigarette case thing.
