Yay! If we get enough signitures, the idiocy will stop! Hooray! I'm still mad my petition isn't listed yet. I put all those funky letters in the title so it would be the first one to be displayed. It's not there yet. Oh well.

Like "How We Spent Our Summer Vacation". It uses the magnetic fields! They RULE!

that is different from the one where they search for the ice-cream head man, right? Leonard? and the lady from the B-52's is in love with him? i love that show so much and practically ever episode makes me want to cry. p.s. everyone, i saw Lil Pete in a restaurant in Amherst once, and he was fat and snobby.

i don't, but i remember when Clarissa Explains it All was 15 minutes long. i would've died if Pete n' Pete stayed that long, died.

It was fifteen minutes long? I don't remember that.

Was it really? How the hell do you program a fifteen minute show? And I am all but certain I watched it in its infancy. What the fuck!
Point being, BAILEY'S A GAYWAD.

eventually it filled a half-hour slot. i'm always impressed by BBC, that they are able to combine 30, 40, and 60 minute programs all together, neatly. but god Ted, we are not making it up. Clarissa was certainly at one point fifteen minutes long. did you ever watch Salute Your Shorts? Hey Dude? and someone please tell me they watched Ren and Stimpy. hurry.
Kinbote
08-08-2005, 01:38 AM
Hey, Dude was great; I wouldn't watch Salute Your Shorts unless absolutely nothing else was on because I fucking HATED the red-haired kid; Ren and Stimpy was my absolute favorite and my dad and I watched it every weekend.
Intern Kate

Butnik? Sputnik?
Ren and Stimpy was sort of a bonding point for my brother, father and i. i remember having friends sleep over who would say "oh, i can't watch this. my parents won't let me." then a friend called one day to say that she could no longer work on a school project about Hopi Indians with me, because her mother thought i was a bad influence or something. fucking, lame.
i bought the first three seasons for a Christmas gift but now my neighbor has them for some reason, as well as thirteen dollars, and my bottle of cheap disgusting vodka. he is such a bastard.
anyway, i hope you watched Doug too.
Kinbote
08-08-2005, 01:51 AM
The best Ren and Stimpy episode was the one Nick refused to air, in which they were adopted by that psycho George fellow and horribly abused.
Your neighbor stole these things? You ought to castrate him or something.
I did watch Doug, indeed. And always thought the little schmuck ought to set his sights higher than that Patty chick of his. What an annoying little prig SHE was!
Intern Kate
08-08-2005, 01:59 AM
i like the one where they sell rubber nipples. also, when Ren's cousin comes to visit and they play Don't Whiz on the Electric Fence. i don't know that i'm familiar with the one you're referring to.
but Ted! Patty's dad was in a wheelchair.
Kinbote
08-08-2005, 02:10 AM
NO! I changed my mind - the best episode is "Space Madness"!
"You're not like the others, Johnny - you hate the same things I hate! Waxed paper...boiled football leather...dog breath... We're not hitchhiking anymore! We're riding!"
"Oh no, I know what YOU want. You coveteth my ICE CREAM BAR!"
"No you don't! You can't take it from me now. I've had this ice-cream bar since I was a CHILD! People...always trying to take it from me! Why won't they LEAVE ME ALONE?"
I would be in a wheelchair as well, if I had to have HER as a daughter. Whiny little overacheiver goody-goody. Now that rich girl, with the I think purple skin and red hair - she wasn't bad.
Intern Kate
08-08-2005, 02:28 AM
ah, that one was good. poor, poor space cadets. couldn't resist the history-eraser button. Powdered-Toast Man, Log, and the commercial for that cereal that was lumps of sugar, and another that was lumps of grass (?) were all pretty entertaining. i think i almost wanted a log of my own.
B.B. Bluff was kind of cute. even if she was a stupid bitch, for almost drowning, then being saved by Porkchop, then trying to press charges against the poor dog. on Christmas!
Kinbote
08-08-2005, 02:38 AM
Well, that log - it's better than bad. It's good. And don't forget the Shaven Yak. Or Gritty Kitty, and the horse: "No, sir. I don't like it." Golly. A portion of my childhood is being relived.
That's probably just because of her father, whom I recall as a breezy and somewhat distant elitist type who probably went to some fancy boarding school in Switzerland full of fives courts and sodomy. The bastard.

I remember that also. Iggy Pop was the dad of icky Michele Trachtenberg or whatever. She wasn't good enough for that show and the mom with the metal plate in her head. Wasn't the tatoo named Petunia or something like that?
Big Pete has been in a couple awful movies that seem to always be on Comedy Central.
The GROSSEST THING EVER is making Ren & Stimpy a real couple on the new one that was on Spike tv. What happened to their sweet innocence. It was stolen from them! Thank goodness my parents have Nicktoons and I can watch the originals whenever I remember. I still sometimes find myself saying "No, sir. I don't like it" and noone gets it.:(
I remember them being dalmations and the fat lady jumping out of the window or something. Weren't they like royal canadian yaksmen or something? A couple nights ago it was the one where Stimpy makes Ren happy with a helmet and they dance to the happy happy joy joy song and the other day was when they were babies then the babies came back. I also remember the bedtime stories and the crazy baboon.
I'm sorry, I can't sleep so I ramble about nick shows it seems.
P.S.
I still have nightmares about Zeke the plumber.
Okay, that is a lie. Salute Your Shorts was awesome though.
Question: Does anyone remember the friend on Doug who was good at sports. it was bugging my nephew. Everytime Porkchop turned on the light at the beginning of Doug my dog would bark. Every single time:eek:
It's Harry!

Yeah, a piece of my childhood was gone when they said "You're the pitcher I'm the catcher!"
I remember waiting for a friend for like 2 hours one day, and to pass the time I sang the "Royal Canadian Yaksmen" song to myself. I forgotten it, but it jogged my memory by the end of the day.
Do you mean Skeeter? Skeeter was awesome cuz he went to collage and said "It's way too big, and everybody smokes!" and they didn't turn it into this big old "DON'T SMOKE KIDS!" thing.
I found a Roger little animation card where you flip it over and it has really jagged little movements. It was when I was like 4.
God. Nick use to rule from like 1994-1998. And then Catdog came on and everything went to hell.

I remember that, too. I used to await those. I remember all summer they were on that search for Mr. Tasty and I was on the edge of my seat.
Hey Dude was the shit, until that Kyle guy came on and tried to get into Brad's pants. I think Ted had left the show by then. I liked Jake, Mr. E's nephew. He was smokin'.
BTW, I always thought Melody was prettier than Brad.

this is possibly my favorite episode. only possibly though. i also like the one where lil Pete tries staying awake for a week, and the one where they get stuck in the school overnight and befriend the janitor who in turn shows them his secret garden on the rooftop.

While I did watch the show, I fucking hated that kid as well. God damn, what an annoying "I want to be cool & rebellious" kid. Not only did he have the mullet action going, but I think he liked wuss rock like Whitesnake. I always wanted to beat him up.
