i don't even know what kind of game! i don't know fucking shit about games! i want one that's pretty recent though, not too old, i.e. nice graphics, and i maybe want violence b/c it's fun!
jesus, just list a game you like and why, i'm very open minded!
and bored, AND poor, so all the more reason to spend it on video games.

Two games suggested:
The Sims 2 - The latest sims, which you are probably familar with.
Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind - AWESOME Role playing game. Very involved. You get to create your own charector. You can be an Argoian, which is like a giant lizard! Or a Khajit, a giant kitty! So cool.
All I can think of now. I haven't bought that many games recently.

It's cool if you want a very involved, detailed game. Excellent storyline, and extremely open ended. You can go around and do whatever you want, but there are also missions to do, so you're not completely lost.

Yes, you can become one, but it's fairly limited with what you can do. Morrowind allows you to create some pretty niffity spells though!

Oh, and I'm suggesting Grim Fandango if you can find it.

Oh, and if you want violence, get Unreal Tournement. It's nothing but violence.
PS. I know my spelling is shite so I DON'T CARE!
Awesomely-voiced tunelady Edith Frost (http://www.edithfrost.com/index.php/weblog/comments/new_toy_oooooo/#comments) likes and recommends Katamari Damacy (http://www.namco.com/games/katamari_damacy/), where you roll things into a big ball.. starting with paper and pins and shoes and progressing on to animals, people, cars, trees, buildings..

these are all great RTS games, most set with a war plot, but building & keeping civilazations aflourish among the chaos. Find all the gaming info you want/need at ign.com (http://www.ign.com) or gamespot.com (http://www.gamespot.com)
Or be patient, and buy the XBOX 360 this November...

I love Sim City 4, what was everyone's biggest city, I once had a city of 2.9 million on a large city and a 800,000 on a medium tile city and another medium next door with about 560,000 I think ;o.

The post would be too long to explain them in detail. And they may sound boring: build a society or army go through the years getting better things, kill the opposing societies or armies.
They would seem more exciting to look them up.
