Last time I listened to MSOTS, I didn't finish it. I skipped to the title track after awhile, and that was that.

I never listened to Zwan (4REELS) should I?
I guess I heard the new song on the radio. But I saw the band and the Asian guy and the girl and thought he was trying to pretend it was TSP. I feel bad.

I don't think Zwan is really worth checking out.
I enjoyed the listen though.

It's worth hearing. But buy it used. Buy it cheap. Although there is a version with a DVD that you can't get in stores anymore. I think the DVD is useful if you want to get a feel for what it was lick in the days of Zwan. Also, all the fragmented songs on the DVD as background audio are better than the songs on the album.

There are a few alright songs here and there... but... eh... I wouldn't want to spend too much at all trying to track down a copy. Download it!

to be perfectly honest, i think that the paris acoustic bootleg is one of the best things ive heard from billy, including alot of smashing pumpkins stuff which i love.
i am very saddened that all the great music from zwan will just die, but happy that they at least got to do an amazing set, the paris show, and that i can throw that on whenever i feel like listening to some acoustic jamming.

I watched Zwan live at the Galaxy Theater today and yesterday. I know it's unpopular around here, but I like Zwan.

Zwan made a lot of great music... but sadly recorded very little of their worthwhile tracks... those they did they ruined in production

thanx for the torrents !
unfortunately i dont think they work for me, if anyone could upload zwan @ BBC audio and Galaxy videos id be grateful ! also the dvd audio clips, my life and time...etc
Zwan were good, to be honest it was a corgan solo project. i think they make wrong choices, a lot of unreleased songs are better than some on the album.

I occasionally (sp?) to some live tracks I have on my computer....the empty sea, spilled milk etc...
They were ok...but they had 3 guitarists and should have done so much more with that!

that's not true... I think Zwan was the most band collaboritive effort that Billy has ever done. Not a solo thing at all... the pumpkins were more of a "billy" thing than Zwan was... Although, I think that everyone in the band (including corgan) began to think Zwan was a joke after awhile... The music and the idea or Zwan for the most part was top notch... just nobody took them seriously because it was the guy from the pumpkins doing another band.

It's a .rar file. All the files were converted from .flac to .mp3, just so you know (.flac would've proven quite troublesome to send over YSI). Enjoy.

By the way, what version of the Paris acoustic show do you guys have? I have an incomplete FM source, with French dj talking. Also, the order of the songs is messed up. The last songs are Friends As Lovers > Honestly > Jesus, I + MSOTS. The encore is missing.
http://www.spfc.org/tours/date.html?tour_id=968
Anyone has the full show? How's the quality?
I has it, it was available on the corgan media forums thing, it has the encore and the quality's great, almost (but not) soundboard quality. My particualr version went through a conversion from 256kbs aac to 128kbs aac so it wouldn't be right to share it, but it's floating around somewhere.
When i think of Zwan I think about what Paz's coochie smells like.
The early live stuff was good but thats about it.

Yeah, A New Poetry. I like the version that's just Billy and the organ.
I also think "For Your Love" is a brilliant song and I secretley hope that it will be on Billy's acoustic record whenever that surfaces.
