i once recorded bass tracks the day after i had my gal bladder removed. i passed out near the end of the last song. made for kind of an interesting sound so we went with it. good luck man. speaking of which i just relocated to the houston area and am/are about to begin an internship at a studio in houston. where are you going to be recording at?

I'm gonna be recording for the most part in Austin, but may use a studio here for occasional overdubs or simple acoustic stuff.
PM me with your studio's name, maybe I've heard of it.
It's funny, I've never recorded anything but demos in Houston. Even when I'm staying here here (which isn't very often). I've recorded in memphis, austin, s.f., and LA, but never good old h-town.

Hey Greenletter,
in the song Green Letter, what is the other string instrument? Viola? Did you play it? Good stuff.

Thanks. It's a mellotron analog synth using cello samples. I played it, I'm not a good keyboard player, but that part was easy.
