It's very good and I was amazed at his physical appearance.

It was a good film, but the formula is pretty Jacob's Ladder / The Tenant material.
I, too, was astounded at his physique in it. Very disturbing.

he obviously has good metabolic control or something, cos in Batman he'd put all the weight back on as muscle. he was hench in Batman, man.
hopefully I will get this in 2 working days.

In the extras he said he just stopped eating. Sounds like it was torture.

The Machinist was one of my personal favorites this year. I knew almost nothing going into the theater and found myself engrossed by what was happening on screen. His guilt was so much that it was physically making him disappear. A sad and morbid story though, which was right down my alley. My girlfriend went because she has the hots for Bale, boy was she shocked, hehe. I think it kinda messed her up seeing him look like that. In short, it was very creepy, but highly recommended.

Completely off subject, but I see you are from Kansas City. The Chiefs are in my town right now for practice. Can't wait for them to go away.

Did you even finish it? At the end, it even showed that it unrolled out and no one was in it.
